How to Set Up Your Email

Setting up your email allows you to send and receive messages using your custom domain. This guide covers creating email accounts, configuring DNS records, and setting up email clients like Outlook, Thunderbird, or Gmail.
Create Email Account
Log in to your BHostBD control panel, navigate to the "Email Accounts" section, and click "Create Email Account." Enter the email address, password, and mailbox quota.
Configure DNS Records
Make sure your domainβs MX records point to BHostBD servers. This ensures your emails are delivered correctly. Optional: Add SPF and DKIM records for better email authentication.
Access Webmail
Access your email through BHostBD webmail at webmail.yourdomain.com. Log in using your full email address and password.
Configure Email Client
Use your favorite email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Gmail, or Apple Mail). Enter your full email address, password, and use the following server settings:
- Incoming (IMAP/POP3) Server:
mail.yourdomain.com - Outgoing (SMTP) Server:
mail.yourdomain.com - Port: IMAP 993 / POP3 995 / SMTP 465 or 587
- SSL/TLS Enabled
Test and Start Using
Send a test email to confirm everything works. Check both sending and receiving functionality. Your professional email is now ready to use for your business or personal needs.
